Father Vince

Hello Everybody,

It has been 1 week today since Fr. Vince’s surgery and I continue to report only good news. We are told that compared to other people who have had this same surgery, Fr. Vince is a wonder. He is up and walking several times a day. This tires him out so he takes cat naps during the day and at night, well, we all know one isn’t allowed to sleep all night when in the hospital. Yesterday he finally got to have Ensure via his feeding tube (it probably was as good as a steak under normal circumstances). At this point he receives nothing through his mouth but in a few days he will graduate to liquids.  He is still weak; his voice is hoarse and he truly isn’t up to visitors or phone calls. But take heart, he is recovering nicely and seems to be ahead of schedule. Keep the prayers coming, they continue to make all the difference for him. I’ll post another message on Wednesday.  Remember cards may be sent here to Wellsville and we will get your cards to him. You are also welcome to call us if you want to. The office is open from 8am-4pm.
